There’s No “I” in “Team”

There’s No “I” in “Team”

January 31, 2020

I’m not particularly political, but…

Given how much President Trump’s been in the news this week, it seemed like a great time to analyze the words written by a commander in chief.

(No, I’m not talking about The Art of the Deal.)

The president at the center of the book I’m reviewing today took great care to be the dumbest person in the room – and so should you dealmakers.

Though many believed this president was actually stupid (I’d strongly argue he was not), he surrounded himself with a diverse group of policy people that gave him the most robust data on which to base his decisions.

Dealmakers similarly need people around them whose experience and skills they can continuously leverage, not least of which are accountants and lawyers.

Click the image below to hear more about how your dealmaking tribe can benefit from studying the leadership mentality of the Great Communicator.

Until then, bye for now.
