Why?
Because there is a very important lesson in there for all of us…
Your past is not your future.
So what do Elton John and I have in common?
One word: Demons.
Elton John had some big demons in his life. Drugs, alcohol, coming to terms with his sexuality… just to name a few.
Yet through all that pain and suffering, he came out the other side. After nearly 50 years, Elton John continues to be one of the best musical performers around – with more than 300 million records sold and counting!
I too have had demons in my life. Some whoppers.
My best friend was killed in a plane crash when he was only 11…
And both of my parents died in very tragic circumstances…
These events haunted me into my late 30s.
A mere 11 years ago I was seriously overweight, practically an alcoholic and had a terrible cigarette habit that was slowly killing me.
I was working for a large corporation doing deals and burning myself out.
So I made some drastic changes and now I’m as healthy and happy as I’ve ever been. Not only am I working on more deals than ever before, but I’m creating new products and content.
I will earn more from closing deals in 2019 than in any previous year.
So where are you right now?
If you have demons, you can quash them and change…
Just like I did. Just like Elton John did.
And you can be super-successful just like we are.
Remember, your past is not your future.
Instead of letting the past run your life, focus on how your history can positively fuel your future.
What has your past taught you about yourself and life? What can you learn from those experiences so you don’t make the same mistakes going forward?
Remember, anything you want to achieve in life boils down to three things:
It’s time to rid yourself of your past, learn from those mistakes and make big strides toward the life you truly want and deserve.
If your goal is to buy a business this year, stay tuned for a HUGE announcement from me on Wednesday! I promise… it’s something that will help me give you everything I have to power you forward.
Until then, bye for now.
