I had a great new idea!
I’m going to let you in on all the stuff I’m doing on a weekly basis…
Stuff in my businesses, stuff in my family, deals I’m working on… and all the other crazy stuff I’m up to so you get a glimpse of what your life can be like too.
The week of Oct. 14 was amazing!
I was on the road (again) at marketing guru Todd Brown’s Top One Mastermind with 40 other amazing entrepreneurs dedicated to growing their businesses and changing the world.
This is the first time I took my new business partner Adam Markley.
Masterminds are amazing.
They are a place to learn from each other, to support each other, to push each other forward, to network and, of course, to hang out and have fun.
This mastermind was in the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, close to Gatlinburg.
I flew into Knoxville from Atlanta on the smallest commercial airplane ever. Like a private jet but rammed with seats. Bumpiest ride ever. I actually said a small prayer (and I’m not overly religious).
As I mentioned Friday, part of our week was spent hiking the Appalachian Trail – so cool!
Then on Thursday night, we had our annual mastermind awards.
I was presented with an award for my recent sale of Ninja Acquisitions to Unconventional Wealth Publishing – and the entire room sang “Happy Birthday” to me (I turned 49!).
It really choked me up.
The next day I flew to Florida, where I met my wife, Julia, and son Josh en route from the U.K. for a two-week vacation.
Everything I do in my business life is to serve my family. They are everything to me.
It’s the ultimate motivation for me to keep pushing toward my ultimate goal of disrupting the global buying and selling marketplace forever.
We all need motivation to do the things that matter.
To have juice. A purpose. A why.
What’s yours?
Family? Wealth creation? Community? Pride?
The stronger your motivation, the more committed you are to achieving your goals.
And ask yourself these questions…
What is your ultimate motivation? Why do you do the things that matter? What makes you follow through?
Because when you know what that is – and you channel it – you can achieve anything you want.
Success is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics.
That’s how I – and the hundreds of students in my amazing dealmaking tribe who I’ve coached to buy profitable businesses without investing their own money – roll.
Until then, bye for now.
